Fermacell UK has extended its portfolio of solutions for external wall constructions. Both fermacell gypsum fibre boards and PowerpanelH₂O cement boards have been approved for use in external applications. Typically used in internal specifications, fermacell is also a cost effective backer board alternative in rainscreen and EWI systems. The cement based Powerpanel H₂O, renowned for its superior performance in humid, wet and high-temperature environments, has now been approved by the BBA for use in external applications as a direct render carrier.
