THE MAGIC MIXTURE

fermacell® fibre gypsum board is a homogeneous dry lining board. Our raw material mix is made of just three natural ingredients - since 1971:

Gypsum
Recycled paper fibres
Water

RECYCLING

We are happy to say that our production process helps us store CO₂. We use the following methods to help create a very strong, dense and resillient sheet material:

Flue Gas Gypsum – derived from power station waste produced during the process of reducing the power station waste
Paper fibres - derived from recycled paper and waste, as well as magazines and newspapers from domestic recycling
Off cuts of board and sanding dust is fed back in the manufacturing process
The waste water from the production process is fed back in the production line

With our cradle to gate system, we are constantly optimising our recycling processes to achieve 100% recycling.
